Gardiner & Theobald worked on this 40-storey headquarters building for Swiss Re on the site of the former Baltic Exchange. The new building provides 41,806m² (net), 78,960m² (gross) of office accommodation with associated retail space and a public square at ground level.
We provided strategic development advice through our Project, Cost and Development management services to Swiss Re. Our role included the negotiations with the owner/developer for the site, and continued through to the completion of the fit out.
Our Construction and Property Tax team also provided capital allowances consultancy services in connection with shell & core construction and fit out.
