The City of Edinburgh is carrying out three Alternative Business Model programmes to drive efficiencies in the management and delivery of business support services. The Estates' ABM programme includes the procurement through competitive dialogue of FM services across 600 council properties, including care homes, adult and child respite centres, hostels, offices, schools, residential and many more.

The council currently spends £44m on FM and has targeted saving of around 30%. We are acting in the role of FM Technical Advisor undertaking stakeholder consultations to create specifications and KPI, advising on pricing strategies, attending dialogue and evaluating bidder proposals.
