Home Office Estates, Review
Prior to the implementation of the Home Office Estates Review, there were in excess of 200 FM contracts, delivering services to over 1,000 properties covering more then 750,000m² of space including offices, training centres, data centres, ports, airports and hostels.
G&T acted as Technical Advisor to the programme for five procurement work streams (FM, Helpdesk, Estates Fit Out & Refurbishment and Professional Services Frameworks). We were engaged in all aspects of the programme from stakeholder consultation, developing tender documents, through to contract management training and benefits realisation reporting, delivering an estimated 23% saving on annual FM costs through six regional TFM contracts worth approximately £45m per annum.
