Principal Designer

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Design/construction management degree qualification preferred
• Previous experience in a construction related role, e.g. engineer, architect etc
• Experience in delivering Principal Design services in compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
• Able to work on own initiative
• A strategic thinker with broad problem solving skills and a drive to overcome obstacles to obtain results
• Personally committed to the delivery of excellent client service
• Positive attitude with a willingness to get involved
• Strong communication skills with experience working in a client focused environment
• Experience working in a client focused environment - working closely with clients, updating clients on progress, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to exceed their expectations
• Preferred- CMaps qualification with the APS
• Preferred- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Preferred- P405 Asbestos Management in Buildings
• Preferred- NEBOSH Fire Safety or similar fire related qualification
