Baywatch Wins Big at the JLL Property Triathlon

G&T once again entered the JLL Property Triathlon at Dorney Lake, hoping to beat previous race records following last year’s success.

The JLL Property Triathlon is a well-established sporting event in the industry calendar, bringing together built environment professionals for a day of friendly competition. G&T spirit was in abundance as our teams kitted up to take on the trials of the triathlon - some in more creative outfits than others.

As the race began it was clear the soaring temperatures would make conditions on the day much harder than usual to compete in. Despite the heat, each team member gave their all as they crossed the finish line reaching rest and recovery at G&T’s corporate tent.

"This year saw almost 3,000 competitors across the various disciplines. It’s an event where elite athletes are competing alongside those who are just hoping to finish!"

A special mention goes to Richard Willing (dressed as Baywatch’s Pamela Anderson) who won the Men’s 30-39 fancy dress individual triathlon in an impressive time of 1:17:18.

Now in its 12th year, 2018 saw the triathlon successfully raise over £200,000 for Crisis, a charity tackling homelessness across the UK to help rebuild lives.

With Ethical Thinking at the heart of the firm, G&T continues to participate in sporting events such as the JLL Property Triathlon, to raise money for charities and important causes.
