Clydebank Leisure Centre
G&T provided Client Technical Advisor services for Clydebank Leisure Centre, the first in a series of developments planned to regenerate Queen’s Quay, once the heart of Clydebank’s shipbuilding industry.
Designed by Kennedy Fitzgerald, the new multi-storey leisure centre includes a 25m swimming pool, teaching pool, leisure pool with waves and flume, changing facilities, a café, multi-purpose sports hall with badminton, fitness suite and dance studio together with netball, basketball, hockey and 5-a-side football courts with retractable seating. The leisure centre also includes a state-of-the-art gym overlooking the Clyde and the first interactive games facilities for the under fives.
