Challenge
The L2 & 2M Conference and Catering Production Unit is a complex, 23,500 sq ft high-specification venue forming a key element of Olympia’s transformation into an International Convention Centre (ICC). Featuring a 400-seat auditorium, multiple 100+ capacity conference rooms, a high-tech networking lounge and a fully equipped production kitchen, the scheme needed to be delivered to a tight programme and within a constrained budget. Events have already been booked ahead of completion, placing critical pressure on delivery timescales, with added demands for rigorous value engineering while maintaining high-quality standards.
Solution
G&T is providing Cost Management, Project Management, Employer’s Agent, and Principal Designer & CDM Consultancy services. By working closely with the wider Olympia development team, we are ensuring seamless coordination across disciplines and keeping cost, quality and time firmly aligned with the client’s brief. Our team led the design phase and oversaw value optimisation strategies, helping to manage complex stakeholder needs and programme pressures while maintaining the venue’s premium specification.
