L'Oréal Terminal Stores
The project involves the interior renovation and build-out of approximately 41,070 RSF of new office space at the 5th floor of the Terminal Warehouse in buildings #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6.
The building is located between 11th and 12th Avenues and 27th and 28th Streets within the Landmarked Chelsea Historic District and is constructed mainly of heavy timber framing with load-bearing brick walls.
The building was historically a cold storage facility for the off-loading of goods from the trains that could enter the building, then a mini storage facility. The current owner is converting the warehouse space into business use to attract corporate and creative tenants.
This space will be used to co-locate L'Oréal's US creative teams into a single location, with easy access to Hudson Yards a few blocks away.
