Brunel Building - FM Procurement

The project involved the fast-track procurement of mission critical Facilities Management (FM) services.
The new operational management at Derwent London identified a need for an enhanced quality of FM services to be in place prior to completion of the building.
G&T's role:
- to design and write FM Specification documents for Security and Maintenance Services tailored to the client's needs and ensuring the output met the client's objectives
- to manage the procurement process of FM services and make recommendations for a suitable provider to ensure the building was fully managed from Practical Completion and during client fit-out
- to ensure procurement principles were applied at all times during the process and a robust procurement plan was followed
Brunel Building is located in a prominent position next to Paddington Station and provides high quality office accommodation and gives occupiers easy access to Heathrow and Central London. G&T also provided Employer's Agent and Project Management services on the landmark development.
