Convene - 22 Bishopsgate

Convene, a leading hospitality operator specialising in premium meeting and event spaces, aimed to establish its inaugural international location at 22 Bishopsgate, one of London's most iconic skyscrapers. The objective was to create a versatile environment spanning nearly 38,000 square feet across two floors, featuring multiple meeting rooms, conference suites, and breakout areas. The challenge lay in designing and executing a fit-out that met high standards of functionality and aesthetics, while navigating the complexities of integrating with the building's existing infrastructure.

G&T was appointed to provide Cost Management and Project Management services throughout the lifecycle of the project. Collaborating closely with Convene and its investor, AXA, we led the technical team in lease agreement negotiations and oversaw the delivery of both Category A and B fit-outs. The project involved creating five large event spaces, conference and meeting suites, and various breakout areas, all designed to offer a seamless blend of hospitality and functionality. Our proactive management ensured that the design incorporated advanced audiovisual technology and flexible layouts to accommodate diverse client needs.

The completed Convene at 22 Bishopsgate now stands as a premier venue for meetings and events, offering adaptable spaces equipped with state-of-the-art technology and high-quality hospitality services. The fit-out successfully delivers on Convene’s ambition to create a seamless blend of business functionality and premium experience, supporting a wide range of uses from corporate gatherings to large-scale conferences.
