Challenge
Hogan Lovells sought to refurbish Level 7 of their London headquarters to better accommodate evolving employee workstyles. The objective was to introduce 11 new cellular offices, additional meeting rooms, and reconfigure the open-plan workspace. Given the temporary nature of this workspace, the project demanded a cost-effective and sustainable approach. Furthermore, the refurbishment needed to be executed without disrupting ongoing business operations within the occupied building.
Solution
G&T provided Cost and Project Management services, collaborating closely with Hogan Lovells and the contractor. Emphasising sustainability and budget considerations, the design strategy focused on maximising the reuse of existing furniture, partitioning systems, and finishes. We facilitated the sourcing of alternative UK-based manufacturers capable of delivering compatible products with shorter lead times, ensuring the project remained on schedule and within budget.
Outcome
The successful refurbishment of Level 7 resulted in a dynamic and adaptable workspace that aligns with Hogan Lovells' commitment to sustainability and employee well-being. The project was completed on time and within budget, with minimal disruption to daily operations. G&T's strategic oversight and collaborative approach were instrumental in delivering a high-quality outcome that supports the firm's evolving workplace needs.
