Redevelopment of the existing shopping centre to create an all-day shopping and leisure destination to the south of the city.
Designed by Benoy, the revamped centre will include a new glass frontage, 20 refurbished retail units, 20 food & beverage outlets and will be anchored by two new leisure facilities - The Light Cinema (32,000 sq ft) and Hollywood Bowl (22,000 sq ft).
Preparatory works began in 2018 with the relocation of the centre's management office and improvements to the Wilko store to make way for The Light Cinema.
Shops will continue to trade during the demolition and reshaping of the centre.
