Challenge
Mazars, an international audit, tax, and advisory firm, sought to relocate its London headquarters to accommodate its rapidly expanding team of over 1,200 employees. The objective was to consolidate operations into a single, modern workspace that would foster collaboration, innovation, and support hybrid working models. The challenge lay in designing a space that not only met these functional requirements but also reflected Mazars' international presence and commitment to sustainability.
Solution
G&T was appointed in 2020 to lead the design and procurement phases of Mazars' relocation to 30 Old Bailey. We provided comprehensive Cost and Project Management services, overseeing the transition into a traditional building contract. Collaborating closely with the design team, we facilitated the creation of a workspace that includes state-of-the-art collaboration areas, innovation hubs, audio-visual spaces, an amphitheatre, study areas, and a café. Meeting rooms were named through employee polls, reflecting Mazars' international and sustainability culture.
Outcome
The new headquarters at 30 Old Bailey successfully unites Mazars' London team in a vibrant, modern environment that supports hybrid working and enhances employee collaboration. The thoughtfully designed spaces promote innovation and reflect the firm's global identity and commitment to sustainability. G&T's leadership ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget, resulting in a headquarters that embodies Mazars' values and vision for the future.
