Challenge
Revolut’s new 113,000 sq ft global headquarters at YY London formed part of London’s largest ever design and build project of its kind for the company, requiring the transformation of Cat A space across four floors into a high specification, experience led workplace within a 10 month programme ahead of its September 2025 opening. Delivered within a retrofitted, live and high profile environment, the scheme demanded careful coordination of multiple stakeholders, tight cost and programme control, and the integration of premium amenities and bold brand elements to meet exacting commercial and contractual expectations.
Solution
G&T provided Cost Management and Project Management services, leading the project from transaction through design, procurement and delivery, guiding the client through an extended procurement exercise to secure the best commercial and technical outcomes while maintaining programme certainty. Our team oversaw the delivery of a ‘workplace as an experience’ concept, integrating open plan areas, focus rooms and phone booths to support a hybrid, remote first yet collaborative culture, alongside collaborative zones, on floor terraces, and a dedicated event space and auditorium, carefully managing risk, logistics, approvals and bespoke branded elements throughout.
Outcome
Delivered in line with Revolut's brand ambitions, the new headquarters provides a dynamic environment designed to support rapid growth, facilitate team building, product launches and workshops, and reinforce a hybrid first approach while fostering in person collaboration. Through proactive leadership, rigorous cost control and stakeholder management, G&T helped realise a landmark workspace in Canary Wharf that reflects the scale, ambition and cultural identity of one of the UK’s most recognisable digital banks.
