Challenge

Maven Securities, a market-leading proprietary trading firm, sought to establish a new London headquarters that would support its diverse trading strategies and foster a collaborative environment. The objective was to create a 39,000 sq ft space that seamlessly integrated an open-plan trading floor, modular meeting rooms, an all-hands area, catering facilities, a gym studio, a wellness suite, and a games area. The challenge lay in delivering this multifaceted project within a constrained timeline to ensure Maven's operations commenced as scheduled.

Solution

G&T provided Cost and Project Management services, overseeing the design, procurement, and fit-out phases of the project. Collaborating closely with the design team and contractors, we ensured that the workspace was tailored to meet Maven's specific operational needs. The inclusion of flexible meeting spaces and wellness facilities was meticulously planned to enhance employee well-being and productivity. Our proactive approach and dedication were pivotal in maintaining the project's momentum and adhering to the tight schedule.

Outcome

The completed headquarters now offers Maven Securities a state-of-the-art workspace that embodies the firm's dynamic and innovative culture. Despite programme challenges, G&T's collaborative efforts ensured that Maven's first day of business proceeded as planned. The new environment not only supports the firm's diverse trading activities but also promotes employee well-being through thoughtfully integrated amenities.
