New Digital Life Building at Teesside University

Digital Life Building

Teesside University’s new £40m Digital Life building will provide innovative research, teaching and learning facilities for its School of Computing, Engineering & Digital Technologies.

The 4,985m² building incorporates smart labs, digital art studios, a multi-functional lecture theatre and large flexible events space. It is a catalyst for physical and digital collaboration and study, simulating an industry-quality digital studio experience for students, business and visitors.

Certified Net Zero embodied carbon and BREEAM 'Outstanding' are key project drivers to demonstrate Teesside University’s commitment to a responsible and sustainable digital future.

The project is located at the centre of Teesside University's Middlesbrough campus and the commission was awarded to G&T under the Procure Partnerships Framework Agreement.
