G&T has worked with SOAS for several years to support its evolving facilities management strategy.
Initially this led to a move to a single integrated Facilities Management contract following a strategic review carried out by our Strategic Asset & Facilities Management team.
We acted as the procurement project manager and FM technical adviser, preparing the suite of procurement documents and undertaking the technical evaluation. A new service partner was appointed at the same time as the conclusion of a major refurbishment project for part of the client estate. Using a highly collaborative approach, we managed the interfaces between the client, the new FM provider and the construction project manager to ensure FM services came online on time and in accordance with the contract.
SOAS subsequently decided to move to an FM self-delivery strategy and G&T supported this process through project management of the implementation programme and procurement of specialist FM and supply contracts to support the new in-house team.
