North Quay House

Works comprised the full strip out and remodelling of internal spaces to CAT A together with a four-storey extension creating a new double-height reception area. The new cycle parking facilities include electric bike charging points and a cycle maintenance station.

G&T worked closely with the design team to provide cost advice during Stages 2 and 3, assisting with the client decision making by market testing a CLT floor plank option in lieu of concrete for the upper floors.

Sustainability and low carbon initiatives were key drivers for this scheme and the building is on target to achieve a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating having focused on the key areas of minimising both embodied and operational carbon.
