Queensgate Cinema and Leisure Extension

The proposed redevelopment and new build extension to the existing 1980s shopping centre creates 140,000 sq ft of additional space located at the first and second floor levels. This includes 40,000 sq ft dedicated to a new 10-screen cinema on the second floor with food/restaurant units and leisure space.

The complex nature of the project requires the demolition, reconfiguration of the existing and new build, Section 278 highways works, the temporary relocation of the bus station as well as downsizing of the John Lewis (prior to its closure) and building above the rooftop of existing tenancies.
