Cadworks™ delivers more than just a city centre workplace, it encompasses both environmental sustainability and social impact. The forward-thinking property displays an impressive array of innovation and new technologies, as well as a myriad of smart features such as the first cycle-in ramp in Scotland, 119 bike stations, four electric car charging points, cool down and stretching zone, best in class changing rooms promoting zero carbon commutes.
Located in the heart of Glasgow’s financial district, Cadworks™ by FORE Partnership, provides 95,000 sq ft of Grade A office space with retail at ground floor, achieving net zero carbon status in operation.
The building contains a VRF high efficiency heating and cooling system with LED lighting throughout. The ethos of community and wellbeing is also encouraged through communal spaces, breakout areas and a carefully curated programme of occupier events, while the Cadworks™ app offers additional amenities to occupiers.
The project is BREEAM "Excellent", EPC A rated, WiredScore “Platinum”, ActiveScore “Platinum” and was awarded an impressive “Gold” rating from AirRated demonstrating the quality of its indoor air.
The building was delivered to 'shell and floor' specification to allow tenants to choose floor and ceiling finishes to suit their bespoke fit-out specification. This resulted in a significant reduction of material waste and associated carbon emissions.
"The team at G&T supported us throughout the project, keeping the wider design team together during design development but also following up with the main contractor on site. Their involvement was key to navigate the various challenges faced, notably COVID-19. Programme was maintained and the scheme was delivered on time."
