Dockside Chapters
ExCeL London is converting 15,000m² of underutilised office, commercial and parking space under the main exhibition halls into immersive experience spaces – catering to the rising trend for participative entertainment and simultaneously animating Royal Victoria Dockside. A further 10,000m² will be developed to meet additional demand.
G&T is providing Cost Management, Procurement and Employer’s Agent services to develop spaces to CAT A level shell and core with an additional specification for greater level soundproofing, fireproofing and power.
Units accommodate up to 600 people participating in large-scale pop-up and permanent experiences from the world of TV, film, music and sport – including 100 years of Disney, Jurassic Park, Friends, Formula 1 and the Life of Elvis.
G&T has been working on ExCeL London for more than 20 years – from the venue’s initial opening in 2000, the expansion in 2010 and Phase 3 which commenced on site in 2022.
