Challenge

The Goodluck Hope project aimed to transform a historically industrial site on the Leamouth Peninsula into a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood. The challenge was to redevelop the area to provide high-quality homes, commercial spaces and public amenities, while preserving the site's heritage and addressing community concerns about scale, design and inclusivity.

Solution

G&T provided Project Management services for the development. The scheme includes 804 residential units, 1,912m² of retail and commercial space, management offices and 223m² of education space. The project features a mix of building heights, from three to thirty storeys and incorporates hard and soft landscaping works, including work to the Orchard Dry Dock and repair and replacement of the river wall.

Outcome

The completed Goodluck Hope development delivers a cohesive and inclusive neighbourhood that blends modern living with historical context. G&T's expertise ensured the project's successful delivery, balancing stakeholder interests and achieving a development that enhances the urban fabric of the Leamouth Peninsula.
