Challenge
The Victoria area of London, long characterised by its fragmented urban fabric and dominated by transport infrastructure, was in need of revitalisation. The challenge was to transform this underutilised space into a cohesive, vibrant destination that seamlessly integrates office, residential, retail, and public realms. The project's complexity was heightened by the site's proximity to one of London's busiest transport interchanges, necessitating meticulous planning and coordination to minimise disruption and ensure safety
Solution
G&T provided comprehensive Cost Management and Project Management services for Phase One of the Nova, Victoria development . This phase encompassed the construction of a four-storey deep basement housing an energy centre, 603,000 sq ft of Grade A office space across two buildings, and 170 luxury apartments in a third building. Our role was pivotal in orchestrating the project's delivery, ensuring that the complex mix of uses was integrated effectively. Our expertise facilitated the seamless coordination of various stakeholders, maintained strict budgetary control, and upheld the project's ambitious timeline.
Outcome
The successful completion of Nova, Victoria has redefined the area as a dynamic urban quarter, featuring three landmark buildings within a new pedestrianised space . The development delivers high-quality office spaces, luxury residences, and a vibrant retail and dining scene, including London's largest al fresco dining area with over 400 outdoor seats. G&T's strategic management ensured that the project met its objectives, transforming Victoria into a destination that harmoniously blends work, living, and leisure, and setting a new benchmark for mixed-use developments in the capital.
