The Dock Shed (Plot A2) Canada Water
The six-storey building will provide 180,000 sq ft of new office space across five floors with new restaurants, retail and café on the ground floor alongside outdoor seating in a unique waterside setting. A new leisure centre for Southwark Council will be located in the building’s basement providing pools, sports court, gym exercise studios and soft play area.
The highly sustainable building is targeting BREEAM 'Outstanding' and WELL 'Ready' Gold and will incorporate smart technology for greater efficiency and an improved occupier experience. Alongside solar panels on the roof, operational carbon will be reduced by using electricity rather than gas for heating.
Facilities also include terraces to the front and rear as well as a 270-space cycle store and 16 showers.
