Located on the former home of RBS, New Town Quarter will develop a brownfield site into a new community including up to 435 homes and office space next to the historic Royal Crescent.
The residential element will provide a mix of private to buy, built to rent and mid-market accommodation, while the office space will be capable of catering for either multi-let or single let opportunities. Plans also include space for independent retail outlets and a gym to promote health and wellness in the community.
The external space is being maximised by concealing car parking below an elevated landscape podium deck. Enhanced pedestrian connections will link the development to the city's historic streets and gardens while a central courtyard/plaza will link to the adjacent George V park.
The project is being developed by Orion Capital Managers who purchased the 5.9 acre site in 2019. A number of public consultation events have been held to engage with local residents during the planning stage.
