Ninewells Hospital
Our cost advisor team has delivered a comprehensive programme of essential works at NHS Tayside’s Ninewells Hospital. The Electrical Infrastructure, Children’s Theatre Suite and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit projects were undertaken within this operational hospital and procured under Frameworks Scotland 3.
The Electrical Infrastructure project saw 12,000 meters of cabling and associated containment installed to replace the existing 50 year old electrical network whilst maintaining clinical continuity to the numerous departments. First phase works were completed in August 2021.
Works at the Children’s Theatre Suite required the closure of six adult theatres for a six week period to deliver essential refurbishment works, with two new theatres created to enhance paediatric care provisions.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also provided critical infant care upgrades with works completed in May 2021.
