Building the Future with Article 25

G&T’s Fabiola Umar has been appointed to Article 25’s NextGen committee, reinforcing a shared focus on shaping a more equitable and sustainable built environment.

Article 25 is a global charity that designs and delivers buildings to improve health, education and resilience in communities facing poverty, climate change and displacement. As a Platinum supporter G&T works closely with the charity to support its mission and extend the impact of the built environment beyond commercial outcomes.

Fabiola’s appointment reflects her commitment to advancing the built environment sector's approaches to supporting positive development where it's needed most. In her role as assistant project manager, Fabiola was part of the team delivering the Ebury Bridge Estate regeneration for Westminster City Council, a scheme that places people, environment and long-term value at its core. Her experience on regeneration projects provides a strong foundation for contributing to Article 25’s work.

“Article 25’s mission to create buildings that change lives strongly resonates with me. I’m looking forward to contributing to a community that challenges convention and brings fresh thinking to how we design and deliver the built environment. It’s an opportunity to learn, collaborate and help shape more equitable and sustainable outcomes for the future.”

Fabiola Umar

Apprentice Project Manager

Article 25’s NextGen committee brings together emerging professionals from across the industry to support the charity’s future direction. Through this role Fabiola will contribute fresh perspective and practical insight, helping to shape initiatives that promote equitable development, sustainable design and knowledge-sharing across the sector.

Her appointment also strengthens the connection between industry and purpose-driven design. By engaging with Article 25’s global programmes Fabiola will help to share learning, challenge established approaches and contribute to a more inclusive and resilient built environment.
