Leeds’ Biggest Ever Commercial Property Letting

MEPC’s 7&8 Wellington Place has been named as the location of a brand new Government Hub in Leeds.

7&8 Wellington Place comprises 378,000 sq ft of Grade A office space over eight storeys with 182 car parking spaces.  The building will achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.

G&T is providing Cost Management and Employer’s Agent services to MEPC, working through the design stages from initial feasibility through extensive price negotiation to agree a contract sum with Wates Construction. This service then continues through the Construction phase.

HMRC, working with the Cabinet Office, will take the office space on a 25 year lease and the deal with see 6,000 civil servants working in the state of the art new city centre premises in 2020.  NHS Digital will also relocate to Wellington Place.
