G&T was appointed to undertake a technical due diligence exercise for Apollo’s new London headquarters and, following selection of Soho Place as the preferred option, led the technical team supporting the agency and legal advisers through the Agreement for Lease negotiations.
The selection of Soho Place represented a significant change in location for Apollo which gave rise to conversations about the cultural fit of the business in relation to the location and the business culture. Temporary space in a separate building was secured for immediate Apollo growth and G&T led the delivery of this space via a design & build route within a fast paced programme.
Following conclusion of the Agreement for Lease, G&T led the appointment of the design team and has steered the team through the design stages – including a period of review for changes arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. The design includes for a mixture of cellular and open plan working environments together with a meeting suite, exercise facilities and catering for both clients and employees, all connected via interconnecting staircases.
G&T is also undertaking base build monitoring services.
