The event brought new members together with G&T project leads who shared what it is really like to work on some of the most notable projects in London.

“It was fascinating to hear the story behind these developments and to meet other NextGen members whilst exploring the city. I am looking forward to the next walking tour!”

Stephanie O’Dwyer

G&T Apprentice

Attendees were welcomed inside The Beaumont Hotel, a decadent art deco style hotel where G&T is providing Cost Management services, before heading to Hanover Square where G&T are working on another large hotel project, as well as having recently completed a number of commercial developments. Next up was the acclaimed auction house Sotheby's, a long-standing client of G&T’s followed by 94 Piccadilly, where G&T is working to convert the Grade I Listed property and former Naval and Military club into a state of the art hotel.

“It was great to bring some of NextGen’s newest members together with individuals they might not have otherwise met. Knowledge sharing across sectors and across the firm is so important to help encourage those starting their careers to adopt a collaborative and connected mindset.”

Alex Wenden

G&T Director and NextGen Champion

The tour ended onsite at the impressive Audley Square Redevelopment where work has begun to create one of the finest new residential buildings in Mayfair. Before heading home attendees were invited for networking and drinks at a local venue where they had the chance to ask questions to project leads and connect with their NextGen peers.

G&T is providing a mix of Project Management, Cost Management and Employer's Agent services on these projects.

“Hearing the project leads talk so enthusiastically about their projects whilst standing right in front of them reinforced why I joined this industry.”

Simon Mukanzu

G&T Graduate
