G&T Hosts Design Charrette Social in Aid of Wood World Missions

Teams from across the firm were challenged to produce a piece of artwork, which was then auctioned at an art fundraiser at the Indra Gallery . 

All proceeds were donated to Wood World Missions, to support the construction of a children’s playground, and a craft and cooking centre in Akosombo, Ghana. We are very proud to give back to a charity that positively impacts children’s lives by providing the resources needed to create a strong sense of community.

A massive thank you to everyone who made this afternoon so enjoyable, and to Gensler, Pascall & Watson, ACA Studios and GB Bank, who designed the craft and cooking centre.

G&T assistant quantity surveyor and event organiser, Courtney-Gifty Hagan, commented: “It has been an absolute delight to combine the action of giving back with this creative social event that has further enforced a sense of community.
