G&T provided masterplanning and cost management services on the Greenwich Peninsula Masterplan which provided for the remediation and redevelopment of the former British Gas site at Greenwich. The redevelopment would form the platform for the subsequent Greenwich Millennium Dome (now the O2 Arena) and the Greenwich Millennium Village constructed by joint development partners GMV and English Partnerships.

The redevelopment works on the peninsula consisted of remediation works to the 100 hectare former brownfield site, provision of new infrastructure roads and services, underground pumping stations, river wall works, refurbishment of existing jetties, creation of new ecology parks and the provision of site wide hard and soft landscaping.
