Designed by award-winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, The Tate Modern Project will bring the old power station's oil tanks in to use as exciting spaces for art and performance.

Above ground an iconic brick clad structure will enhance London's cityscape and create new spaces for the world's largest audience for modern and contemporary art to enjoy, allowing more of the Tate's Collection to be displayed than ever before.
