We were appointed as Independent Advisor to support the DfT in all aspects of a major project to refurbish the headquarters of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) - the only UN body based in the UK.

The role included the scoping of the Options Appraisal and the appointment of a comprehensive project team, the temporary relocation of the IMO during the works, the monitoring of progress and performance, representation on the Project Board and the tracking and reporting of the master development budget and validation of all payments made, including advising on future building management and improved sustainability credentials.

The resultant project was a £63m refurbishment project that was completed on time and within budget.
